Luau Maka'iwa Reservations
Held at a beautiful oceanfront location on Kauai’s east shore, Luau Maka'iwa celebrates the royal surfing grounds and the Polynesian islands' connection with the ocean. The Wailua and Kapa'a areas on the island of Kauai were the original home to the first Hawaiian settlers who came from the Marquesas Islands to Kauai almost 1500 years ago.
At this special Kauai luau, you'll hear the legends of the Hawaiian Islands and Polynesia through song and dance. Leilani Rivera Low, who is an award-winning kumu hula (hula teacher), will take you on a mesmerizing journey of Kauai and other islands in the Pacific, including Samoa, Tahiti, Tonga and New Zealand. The Luau Maka'iwa includes a delicious luau buffet dinner with a wide variety of delicacies, as well as Mai Tai and other tropical cocktails, beer and wine (open bar available until show starts).
